Anthony Anella - Founder & President

Born and raised in Albuquerque, Anthony Anella is a conservationist, an architect, and a writer. His most satisfying professional accomplishment is the protection from development of 30,828 acres of the Montosa Ranch with a conservation easement.  This project, located near Magdalena, New Mexico, is profiled in SAVING THE RANCH: Conservation Easement Design in the American West, Island Press (2004), which he co-authored.   From 2005-2010 he served on the board of the New Mexico Land Conservancy. In 2009 he co-chaired the Aldo Leopold Centennial Celebration.  From 2010-2015 he served on the national board of the Aldo Leopold Foundation.
