Kelly Byram, MS, MBA - Treasurer
Kelly Byram, MS, MBA, ELS (Treasurer). Kelly is CEO of Duke City Consulting, LLC and a biomedical research funding and strategy consultant specializing in rare disease and orphan drug research and development. While in college at Indiana University, Kelly became involved in environmental causes, eventually earning a master’s degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the University of Florida. Kelly is the author of several articles on amphibian conservation. She enjoys the camping and outdoor adventures of the American West.
In addition to her finance background from her consulting work and managing her own small business, Kelly has an MBA from the University of New Mexico and was a private client financial consultant early in her career. Currently, in addition to serving as Leopold Writing Program Treasurer, Kelly is Director-at-large for New Mexico for the American Medical Writer’s Association Southwest Chapter and serves on the General Board at the Albuquerque Academy.
