Heather has been able to sustain my hope. She has a historical perspective for readers to understand democracy.

Heather is clearly someone I/we can trust to give me/us accurate information about the historical record and assessments of what is happening every day in our current chaotic political environment. Because she is a walking, talking comprehension American history book, she gives me comfort in her descriptions and comparisons of what our country has experienced in the past and is experiencing presently. Despite the almost daily occurrence of maddening disregard for the Constitution and rule of law by the Trump administration, Heather’s daily explanations, analysis and historical perspectives greatly help settle my mind about what America has gone through before and how we can preserve our democracy yet again. We are so very fortunate to have her generous contributions to our democracy and sanity at this point in history, and history will remember her for her selflessness and remarkable dedication to our democracy.
