When my press on nails pop off in the middle of a task, like opening a can of soda or closing my car trunk.

When I left my Italian family in New Jersey and relocated to Honolulu, some people asked me, why do Italians eat dinner at 2:00 on Sundays? I thought about it for a minute and said, “ You don’t?" And then they asked, why do Italians all talk at the same time? And I thought about it for a minute and said, “You guys take turns? How do you get to say everything you want to say?” And that’s when I knew my experiences were not the center of the universe.
