Loving my son
Anonymous May 17, 2025 Loving my son - and allowing him to grow up without solving all of his problems! I am (im) patiently waiting for him to come back on his own terms… i continue to give him space - with love I loved the study of oceanography and geology
Susan Rhoades May 18, 2025 I loved the study of oceanography and geology but, had to pursue a career in engineering to support my family (single mom of two kiddos). I introduced my children to the wonders of exploration and taught them about rocks and the ocean through hiking trips into the geologic history of New Mexico which records histories of oceans coming and going and mountain building over time. |
I had to leave
Anonymous May 17, 2025 I had to leave my alcoholic husband after 40 years of marriage. It was devastating and freeing at the same time. Now I check in with him occasionally. Not sure if it’s a guilt thing but probably out of simple concern. We had become friends but no longer in a healthy relationship. I’ll always love and respect the good times we had. |
