The joy of camaraderie is not replicable. The joy of kicking power in the financial balls is incomparable. The joy of fighting for those who lost representation is cathartic. The joy of reading a deconstruction and succinct description of systemic and chronic injustice is like the joy of getting a fresh soft serve ice cream cone. The worthy work of challenging power with recruits is bone warming.

Joy is like water; it brings all my lump leaves back to life. It stimulates the growth of roots laterally and vertically, connecting me to other lives, other ecologies, other ways of seeing and being. Joy is like blood. It flows through my heart, filling each chamber until synapses flash and ideas emerge.
